The Miami Jazz Experience is a talented quartet of
seasoned players. They'll provide an elegant and sophisticated performance
for nearly any occasion. Your guests will enjoy an artistic experience...real,
live jazz...showcasing the heart and soul of true instrumental jazz:
melodies and improvised
solos performed by four of Miami's most talented professional musicians:
Glen Bauer studied jazz guitar with Dennis Sandole in Philadelphia.
He has been a professional guitar player many years. Glen’s
playing experience includes jazz, blues, and rock in Philadelphia
and Atlantic City. He’s been performing jazz and blues professionally
in the South Florida area for over 15 years.
Al Nigro is a native of South Florida, and has
played locally for more than 20 years, in all styles and venues.
He has a jazz performance
degree from the University of Miami, and has opened for such acts
as Wayne Newton, Smokey Robinson, and Ray Charles. He recently played
bass for the new musical Breakin'
Up Is Hard to Do (a production at the
Miracle Theater).
Stewart Schultz has had 15 years of training in classical piano,
and has been performing jazz, blues, other improvisational and classical
music for over 20 years on both U.S. coasts and in Europe (Germany,
Netherlands, Croatia). In South Florida he has performed solo jazz
piano as well as ensemble jazz and blues with artists such as Albert
Castiglia, Sheba Israel, Bobby Stringer, and many others.
Dean Vellenga grew up on the frigid plains of Northwest Minnesota.
He holds a degree in music from Moorhead State University, where
he was the drummer for the MSU jazz band, jazz combos, and several
orchestral ensembles. In addition to the Miami Jazz Experience, Dean
plays with a funk rock trio that gigs regularly in and around the
Fort Lauderdale / South Florida area.
The music is real...and it's all live...just true jazz. And it's
art...each of the musicians blends, interacts, and inspires each
other for a
unique performance for every date.
So, show your guests that you appreciate the magic of live music.
Show them that you value their taste in music. Show them the Miami
Jazz Experience.
